The two residential buildings are located on the outskirts of Ballwil and form the western edge of the small Gorgen neighbourhood. The positioning of the buildings, the chosen spatial typologies, and the character of the façades create a deliberate contrast both to the street and to the surrounding green spaces. The fan-shaped arrangement of the living and outdoor spaces towards the southwest floods the interiors with natural light and creates varied and engaging sequences of spaces. The Gorgenbach stream runs through the site and is renaturalised, creating a green setting that can be experienced by residents and visitors.
