The project proposal is shaped by the irregular topography of the lot. The building volumes, which are staggered in height and offset in plan, respond to the varying degrees of the slope. The “Schlössli” is not overshadowed in height and retains its distinct character as a standalone structure within the park. A mix of different housing needs is of great importance for the sustainable development of rural regions. The floor plans (chamber floor plan) provide a flexible spatial structure that allows for diversity in the organisation of the living spaces. A conventional, solid construction method is planned for the main building. Wood, used as the building material for the balcony level, is intended to contribute to the cozy atmosphere of the outdoor space and lend the development an open character.
